Hi there! I’m Kelly, the one behind woon jai ceramics. I inspire to create pieces that reflect our expectations in quality and functionality.

The name “woon jai” translates to (little) bowl, brought forth from my own culture and upbringing. Throughout my life, a bowl was always the preferred vessel for meals, so it became the most comforting and familiar. 

I began ceramics seeking a fulfillment in creating with my hands, but in time began to share my own style. A minimalist approach, experimenting with different clays and glazes, instilling both attributes of my life that are past and present. Focused on functionality and comfort.
